Belews Creek Watershed ~ Keep it Clean!

Picture
Within the next several months you will be seeing these watershed signs within the watershed... watch for them on your local roadways...and as always....keep it clean!

The design to the left you will see along walking paths in different areas.

The two designs below you will see along the roadways, some when you enter the watershed and others within the watershed.

If you are interested in having one of these signs placed on your property, please let us know. (click here)

Fall Clean Up of Belews Creek 2008
Several members of the Belews Creek Watershed Partnership got together and cleaned up a portion of the creek near Regina Road.

Fall Clean Up of Belews Creek 2009
Members of the Belews Creek Watershed Partnership and Students from Hillsboro High School Environmental Club and several other students cleaned a portion of Belews Creek, starting approximately 1000 feet from it's source and continuing for about 3-4 miles, through the Hillsboro Little League Complex and beyond to about 1/2-3/4 mile past where Klondike Road runs over the Belews Creek.

January 2011 Clean Up along Redbird Lane was successful, just about filled the dumpster at the Little League fields. Unfortunately almost as soon as it was cleaned up people started throwing their trash out again.
